Born in Bautzen, East Germany, where she studied design and photography, Simone worked in London, Vienna and New York City for over 20 years as an art director and illustrator. Simone's design work has won several awards by SPD, ADDY, ASBPE and others. Clients included Entrepreneur Magazine, AARP, The Washington Post, American Express Publishing, Disney Publishing, The Wall Street Journal, On Wall Street magazine, New York Daily News, Florida Trend, St. Petersburg Times, SmartMoney magazine, BusinessWeek, Newsweek and many others.
She is a member of the American Art Therapist Association, and German Association for Creative Arts (dgkt).
Simone works as Art Therapist at the All Children Oncology Station at the University Clinic in Erfurt/Germany. She also is taking private clients for art therapy and creative courses at her own atelier in der Ordensburg in Liebstedt. Online sessions are also available.
